As an active member of my Toastmasters International club, Carylina Toastmasters, I have earned my CC and am working toward my CL. I also serve as my club's vice president of public relations, and have even taken first place at the Area 76 Humorous Speech Contest (it was a really funny speech).

I like to give back to the community the best way I know how -- through writing, storytelling, and content strategy. I serve on the publicity committee for the Toast to the Triangle, benefiting the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, and in the past have volunteered through Catchafire.

My son and I are active in the Triangle Y Guides Trailblazers program, I am currently training for my second half-marathon (I did the first half last year), and I am a season ticket holder for the greatest sports franchise in the world.
